Pat and Katie discovered the airport for sale entirely by accident in the fall of 2012. They contacted the realtor and were able to tour the property on a rainy day in late September. In the evening, as they flew back to Arkansas (where Katie was living at the time) in Pat's RV-8, they saw an amazing sight. The full moon created a beautiful rainbow in the night sky - a moonbow!
